    First light!

I've had my Orion XT8 for almost two weeks now and the clouds finally went away.

I wasn't expecting much with the full moon, small town light pollution and humidity so thick you could almost cut it with a knife.

Imagine my surprise when i was able to spot four of saturns moons and a few in and out glimpses of the cassini division.

    Clear skies

    Re: First light!

    Hi Chuck,

Saturn can just take your breath away - great first light with that scope.  I viewed Saturn briefly last night - always a fantastic sight.

    Clear skies,
