Hey I finally did it!.....Uninstalled a bunch "o" crap , was asked to reload what ended up being (I guess) the latest Java apon logging on and voila!.....I can access Reader Forums as well as the rest of the site now using Forefox!.....Hip hip horray!

That's good to hear Dave, I'm glad you got it working. I would ask you to let us know if you have any problems with it in the future, but I already know that you will.

 I have been using it for about 1&1/2 years now and there are the occasional problems but it definitely superior to Microsoft. Enjoy!

I wouldn't holler yeehaw too loudly yet. Mine works fine sometimes, others not. Just a few minutes ago it crashed me again when I tried to get here. So bad I had to do a restart to get operating again.

This morning it was fine, right now it's miserable again. 

LOL John!....I laughed like H E double hockey sticks when I read your post in the mail!.....& then ran into a little glitch trying to log back on!....It acted like it didn't know me although my name was right there on the page!...lol...lol....................Dave

Also success with firefox - 10 times faster page/thread access and no crashes after switching from explorer browser. Also works faster on other web sites but some still slow (but still faster than explorer). Just started using firefox here today and no crashes yet! But time will tell, I'm sure. But much better nowwith the new browser on this site!   Mr Q
