Thanks Alan... I enjoyed putting the video together a bunch. I could just keep playing/editing a video for hours. I did a long edit of my granddaughters' gym class year end ceremony a few years ago. I'll bet I had 50 hours into the edit before I forced myself to call it finished.

Coming from another Pink Floyd lunatic,..Awesome!!!!.....In giving away my age, I got to see the Dark Side of the Moon live in concert at the Los Angeles sports arena back in '74,'75,...Duh ,I can't remember!....But till this day....have not seen a show that could come close , not even close to the experience of sitting on the edge of my seat in awe of Pink Floyds fabulous perfomance!.......Next to that show The Wall live at the same venue would take second place back in I 'think' '1980?......ROCK ON !............Too bad Roger Waters & David Gilmore can't put aside their differences and re-unite!.......................................Fellow Pink Floyd lunatic,Dave

I got to see Pink Floyd when Roger Waters and David Gilmore got back together in the mid-Ninety's.  My best friend and I had said that if they ever got back together to play live we would go see them.  It was pretty darn awesome.  I like early Floyd too, "Arnold Lane" etc...
I also like Waters' solo stuff.  I've always liked all their stuff.  "Money...it's a gas!"

 I didn't notice that you were twisting the notes but I expected it to sound different so maybe that's why.

Nice job! Now all you need are some drums behind you. I could jam to Floyd all day. I also saw Pink Floyd in the the 90's. That's the concert the Pulse dvd is from. And there was definitely no Roger Waters. Guy Pratt has been the bass player since they reformed. You should also get David Gilmour's new dvd Remember that Night. They play some great floyd songs. The line up has a lot of the guys from the pulse dvd. Long live Pink Floyd!

 Ahhh yes.  You're right Domine, Roger Waters didn't play with Floyd then.  Ooooops!  I was mistaken.

I´ve got to let you guys into a little secret and you will probably think that i´m been morbid now...but when i kick the bucket, hit the proverbial highway and i get reclaimed by the universe.I´ve told my family to play "comfortably numb" at my you know what.Lets face it i will be quite numb at the time.I hope that i can put that on hold for a few years more yet.  

I´ts by far my favorite song of there´s...come on pink floyd give the world a reunion tour.

Hey Starrygyrl… I only remember about 2% of the names of the band members of the groups that I like. I just never made it a priority to remember them each by name. (my bad I guess) I love the music, and I like seeing the bands, but the names all just kinda blur together a bit.

Here’s one that I remember… First found her on you tube over a year ago. My latest CD buy was caused by this video… ($32 CD DVD combo) It’s not Floyd, but you might like it. The CD is good, but this video is awesome!

Little secret about “Comfortably Numb”… When I was taking bass lessons about 17 yrs ago, my teach had me and my drummer friend hook up with his brother’s band. (basement and backyard stuff)… One night he came over his brother’s and we jammed impromptu “Comfortably Numb”. Well he was a Floyd fanatic, taught 4 instruments and voice, and had spent the time to work on the bass line with me and the drums with the drummer during our lessons. For 6 minutes I was Waters… I’d say that was the best I’ve ever played, but it was actually Dave (my teacher’s name was Dave) as he could catch every nuance of Gilmore’s style on that song. Ahhh to be 35 and jamming with the mates again.

You could expand the funeral idea to have Pulse “Comfortably Numb” projected onto the wall over you at the appropriate moment. Think of all your family and friends ballin their eyes out to Dave wailin his heart out, and you just layin there lookin all inocent. (I think I may need to borrow your whole Numb party theme for my own sendoff).

Starrgyrl, I found some vague mention of sorta an implied stab in that direction on the web… But the song is credited to Tunstall most places. The CD is in the car and I’m not going out in the cold until I have to, so I’ll check that later and get back to you if it says differently..

She is good at covers though to be sure. The song that got me stuck on her was a live “Tangled Up In Blue”. Actually 2 versions… One was from a tribute to Dylan, the other from a UK pop music show. Each uniquely great!

Tangled Up In Blue  is one of my favorite Dylan songs but I've gotta see him play it, not someone else.  I agree with you that she is talented but I think she needs to play her own music.
