    Solar System Alignment--Dec Astronomy Article

The article detailing the fact that the solar system seems cosmically aligned, with a cool lobe above and a warm lobe below the solar system plane--was very interesting.

I think this is an observer effect.   It is based on a tremendously large scaledoppler effect on these very small black-body raditation levels.  We are traveling 'down', so to speak, creating this large scale effect.

Nothing else makes sense to me.

I know some people will grab this as proof we are at the center of the universe--and all that that entails...

      Anyone?

Re: Solar System Alignment--Dec Astronomy Article

Seems to me the most obvious reason is the one they don't want to consider----that what they are observing is in fact a far more localized phenomena and NOT the cosmic scale they want to believe. The author hints at this on page 43, suggesting the possibility that what they are measuring may be closer to us and only masquerading as a cosmological CMB.
