Some of you may know of the Space DVD i am working on. This is an ongoing project, constantly being worked on to take in the latest developments and discoveries in the field of space exploration. It is non profit, free in other words. It can be downloaded by you, and then burned on your PC for play on your DVD player at home.
I have produced several videos which serve as previews, or demo's. These can be found along with an explanation of the project Here
Or here on my You Tube Channel
The DVD was to be a compilation of many video features. However i may now release individual features as i go. In order to keep the content of the project as relevant, and topical as i can. rather than waiting over a year between releases. So, expect a "New Horizons - Jupiter Encounter" DVD to be released very soon.
All the content has been worked on by myself in some way, or others involved in the project ( but mostly just myself right now at least. feel free to join in this project, you would be very welcome! ) . Either by enhancing original image releases, colouring them, animating them, either in 2d, or producing brand new original computer generated 3d animations.
The latest release can be previewed at You Tube Here
it is a completely new 3d animation featuring images from the New Horizons mission during its encounter with Jupiter earlier this year. I made 3d models of Jupiter and its moon Io. Animating a space scene, which is artificial, but uses real, and accurate data to produce the scene. New Horizons images of Jupiter and Io was used to construct these model worlds.
i have nearly completed the New Horizon's video feature. It will now be sent away to a fellow space enthusiast who is also a talented musician where he will add a totally new and original music score. This will feature in all videos. No copyrights will be broken by using existing music tracks. if you watch the preview video you'll get a taste of that music, hopefully you'll agree that it adds so much to the project.
I entered this project, firstly to see cool stuff on my own TV. Secondly to share that stuff with fellow space enthusiasts like yourself, and out of a interest in promoting space exploration among the public. Hopefully this can stimulate and showcase the latest endevours in space exploration.

All images seen here appear in the "New Horizons - Jupiter Encounter" feature.
