    Crazy Weather

I was just outside getting the yard ready for an approaching storm.  The storm was far away enough not to hear the thunder and not to see its clouds but it was close enough to see the lightning.  It was very freaky to see lightning flash every few seconds when I looked at Cygnus, Cepheus, Boötes, and Ursa Major.  Also I saw a fireball when I looked at Ursa Major just as lightning flashed.

Time to put the scope away when stuff like that happens!

I once saw a lightning ball of fire and it was incredible!  Lightning storms are cool.
