When can I see Auroras in Whistler, BC?

I'm heading to Whistler for a bit of skiing in mid March.  I was wondering if I had a chance of seeing an Aurora then?

I take it that you believe because you will be in Whistler that you are in the Great White North. With the socked in weather that we are having on the west coast of Canada I doubt if you will even see the sky. Actually we are having quite a warm spell so I hope it's cold enough at Whistler alttitude. If it is, then there should be lots of snow for skiing at least.

As to the Aurora, I'm sorry to say that in the far southwest corner of Canada there isn't a lot of aurora action and when there is it's often rather faint. If you don't know what to look for you might not even notice it. At best a decent display happens once or twice a year in this area. Sorry.
