GLAAC is the Great Lakes Amateur Astronomy Clubs--the umberella group for most of the area's astronomy clubs.

Also, try http://www.astroleague.org
This is the site for the Astronomical League--the main umberella organization for every registered astronomy club in the U.S.A.

A word of advice....there are many astronomy clubs out there. Sit-in on their meetings and get a feel for how they work and see if you feel comfortable there--ask lots of questions to all of the members....see if they're friendly/outgoing/welcoming, helpful, and both appeal to you and challange you (also, find out about their dark-sky site--is it easily accessible? Is it protected?). Have fun, and good luck!
