    Bright Jupiter through Binoculars?

I was looking through my Orion Resolux 7x50 Binoculars at Jupiter tonight and noticed that there was a constant bright white glow around the Planet. bright Stars that I also observed with my Binoculars did not have this bright glow. I'm thinking this is because Jupiter was the brightest object in the sky and the moon wasn't out yet?

Could have been something in the atmosphere, moisture perhaps.
