    Sort of like giving a race car driver a pint of gas so he can go for a quarter the way around the oval.

    At least nothing blew out, melted, shorted, or otherwise fell off.

    Nah...I think they might start finding anti-matter more and more popping up...

    According to Physics Today (hardcopy) They are throttling back to 3.5 TeV for the time being..Still  above the 2TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron...so maybe we will hear confirmation of the Higgs particle soon.

     If not the next step after they have the magnets trained and their conductivity confirmed up to spec is to go back to  7 TeV with ultimate plans for 14 TeV.  If no Higgs by then?......
