For the past 2 days or so, when logging on to this website, I get sent to the above website login screen.  Logging on there (same user and password) gets me to Kalmbach.  After several tries, I eventually get here.  What's the problem?

I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to in this sentence. Does it send you to the general Kalmbach log in screen?

Sometimes I get diverted to https://secure.kalmbach.com/customer/Default.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1, other times I don't.  It's random.  No settings have been changed on my computer.

It does it the first time I try to log in, but not the second time.  And you can't get from the Kalmbach screen to the astronomy.com screen and be signed in.  Also, signing-in to Kalmbach does not get you signed in to astronomy.com.  Confusing.  But so far, logging in twice does the trick.  Annoying, but it works.

It happens to me sometimes too, but only if I log out and clear all the cookies in the browser. I think it wont happen if you have a certain cookie (hence the reason it works fine the second time you log in). I almost never log out, that seems to help/.

TeleNoob, you may be correct.  But nothing has changed on my end and this problem just started within the past 1 week for me.  My antivirus program runs on it's own, so maybe an update of this clears my cookies.  Or maybe something changed on this astronomy.com or Kalmbach websites.  I also don't log out just to save time.

It happened to me just now. But this is at work and not home. At home Firefox remembers most of my websites and such, but at work I have to login.

Our web site people are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Thanks for providing details.
