    My first M13

Not a postcard from Hubble, but I am quite happy. My first go-round with this. Missed it last season and I am not sure when I will get out to get it again. It's right above the treeline by 8:30 PM.

Single exposure at 5.7 seconds. Seeing was good and would have been far far better but I was getting hit with 10mph winds and a bright moon (hence, single exposure). Shot with a Meade DSI, a modified NorthStar Dob Tracker and my 10".

I agree, not bad at all for a first attempt. There's some depth to the image as well.

I think for the placement and time you did a fine job.  Getting a shot this decent first time out is great.

    Thanks for sharing,

Thanks all. I wish I had another go at it (now that my tracking is even better). I am under a double-Noreaster so it looks like muck for the next couple of days.
