I just wanted to make everyone aware of a new video series Associate Editor Liz Kruesi is working on. The series is called Cosmology 101, and each video provides an overview of a different concept in the field. So far, she's produced two installments:

The Big Bang

Dark Matter

The Big Bang video is available to anyone, while the Dark Matter piece is available to registered members of Astronomy.com. Registration on Astronomy.com is free and easy, although if you are posting on the Forums, you've obviously already registered.

Does one purchase this or is it free? Is it available only online? Can it be mailed to an interested person?

They are free for viewing online by clicking on the above links (you must be signed in to Astronomy.com to view the second one, but just like the Forums, it's still free). They aren't on DVD or anything like that -- just on the Web.
