You can view my blog "Neocosmology" at Blogger.com - I think the word "neocosmology" is a more appropriate term to refer to the "new cosmology". It is one word and is easy to pronounce, spell, has fewer characters and follows an established precedent. The meaning of the prefix "neo" is also well known even to kids. ..........
The trouble is that the real implications of neocosmology are not yet really recognized. For instance, it may be "hard to believe" that gravity may be be leaking into our universe (U) from other quantum manifestations of U as well as leaking out (as proposed by Randall). The final result of the two processes would be to serve as a source of the "missing mass" that has been called "dark matter". ..........
Gravity may leak into U leading to the variations from Newton's Law that have been detailed in the theory of modified Newtonian dynamics (MOND). This inbound leakage would be focussed on galaxies and galactic clusters while leakage "out" of U would lead to the measured degree of weakness that is observed to cause gravity to be ranked last, by far, of the fundamental forces in terms of intrinsic strength. .........
Quantum phenomena are often "hard to believe". They are real and they are true to the theory nonetheless. Neocosmology also stands against the idea of "dark energy". This is because "dark energy" is a pure misinterpretation of the meaning of observations. See http://neocosmology.blogspot.com - for details.
