I must say it absolutely boggles the mind that the Universe is as vast as it is, meaning with no end or limit for if there was a limit what would be the defining point, what would be the end, a fence, a force field? And what would be on the other side of this? So the logical assumption to this phenomenon is that there is no end. Possibly our Universe could be connected to a series of infinite universes, but with the Hubble law in mind this probably would not be possible. If this was possible there would probably be an explosive, violent collision with the next universe in the string which would cause universal cannibalism (as opposed to galactic cannibalism). If this were possible would there still be only one creator? The recession of galaxies is proportionate to their distance from the earth and the further they are the closer they get to the know physical speed limit in the universe, the speed of light.
If we look at the Big Bounce Theory, the Big Bang was merely the beginning of a period of expansion that followed a period of contraction. In this view, one could talk of a Big Crunch (contraction of the Universe) followed by a Big Bang (expansion of the universe), or more simply, a Big Bounce. This suggests that we might be living in the first of all universes, but are equally likely to be living in the 2 billionth universe (or any of an infinite other sequential universes). If the Big Bounce Theory is correct than that would mean that Time always existed. There was always Time as in a Timeline of the Universe(s). Incredible. As stars fade and form new stars so would universes fade and form new universes.
