    Couldn't find an answer so....

    I searched through these issues and couldn't find help. Why, when I mouse over some ones clear dark skies bar my cursor turns to a hand indicating a link, yet when I mouse over the one in my signature it doesn't show a link ?

    I tried changing it to no avail ... (edited for content by moderator).

    If you have one of the Clear Sky Charts in your signature, it's probably stored as a static image, in which case the link won't be live. If the chart changes with time, then it's most likely a problem with too many hops in the link redirection (it might be "live" in the sense that it periodically updates, but not "live" in the sense that clicking on it takes you somewhere).

    I don't get a popup when I mouseover on it, so I'm thinking the only reason you do is because the link is "live" only local to your PC.

    How did you place it in your signature?

    Did you use the thumbnail link as described on the clear sky chart page?

    If you only used the IMG tag it will only post a static image of the most current CSC.  If you want it as an active link to your CSC you need to use the URL tag along with the IMG tag.

    Here is an example of mine minus the brackets around the BBCode Tags so that you can see it here.

    URL=http://cleardarksky.com/c/JcksnvlNCkey.html] img http://cleardarksky.com/c/JcksnvlNCcs0.gif /img [/URL

    You will need the [ in front of URL at the begining and the ] at the end after /URL, and both [] at the img and /img tags for it to work.
