Thanks Starwolf, I see I forgot to say that the 100ed is mounted on a SV Pro none goto with tracking. That pic is about 2 to 3 seconds from a 20 second clip at 20 fps. I think next time I try I will try out my UHC maybe.

Re: My first try at Jupiter,,,,
Not bad at all....especially for a first attempt. You should see my first try. I have been at it for a couple of years, and my best images this year, are not a whole lot different from yours. It's a difficult target unless the "seeing" is above average......with near perfect focus and exposure settings. If this is your first, you will get some great images as you gain experience. You are off to a great start. There is some luck involved......being out there on a night (or an hour) with good seeing.
I got lucky [astrophotography-wise LOL) a couple of nights last year, and managed to get quite a bit of detail. This year has been a challenge so far. Aperture and superb optics don't hurt of course, but extra good seeing can overcome shortcomings in equipment.
Good luck......looking forward to seeing more of your images.

Thanks Barry, Like I said it was bad seeing and pretty much new to really trying to learn RegiStax, and as you say some luck and I would be happy with even some average seenig
