    Busted!!

UBS got caught hiding over 17 billion dollars of assest of over 19,000 wealthy Americans.  They pledged to congress to stop this practice which allows tax evasion. UBS made a sweet 200 million from this 'service'.

       To those multi-millionaires:

Yeah Baby!  That's the 'American Way' I know!--me and millions of other average Americans who play by the rules and yet are continually cheated overtly and covertly through a broken political system.

The hard part of it-- for me--is hearing about personal responsibility, free market capitalism, and pulling oneself up by the bootstraps.  Its hard to take a spanking and a lecture from my masters in this fashion.

makes me want to crack open a six pack of Bud and...

       oh, wait...

Yep, apparently if you're willing to spend $70 a share, you, too, can own a major beer company.

I'm not trying to bring up the "P" word, but, ya know, how can we(the U.S.) run around telling everyone what to do and how to act when more and more we(the U.S.) are being owned by the ones we(the U.S.) are trying to tell how to do things.  Where's the leverage in that?

Keep in mind this is only my rhetorical rantings.  "Rhetorical" being the key word.

    Re: Busted!!

Well, the blatantly obvious answer to that is-

In 3-5 years time, a radical shift in world politics should take place.   Total wealth will shift to developing China and India, as well as the EU.  The trend is already beginning as profit hungry corporations look to sell of US private assets while the gettin' is still good.  Corporate investment money will look to overseas concerns as well, as the US economy shrinks as a portion of the total world economy, and these entites divest of dwindling US markets.

We will still have a superpower military though, and apparently the will to liberally use it, where governent policy and economic savvy have failed.

      So don't dispair!

O.K., last comment on this.  I AM NOT and imperialist.  I think we(the U.S.) stick our nose in to things we don't need to be involved in.

There. Done.  I bet I get in trouble for this!
