after thorough reading from material got from the internet and books, my first impressions on our " Milky Way" which was thought to be an average sized galaxy to one that is an "intergalactic cannibal" ( the phrase is kinda ghouly though
) sucking out from the Sagittarus dwarf, which ventured too close to our milky way and is being torn apart silently, with debris stretching 150,000 light years. Makes me proud of our Milky Way.
Another piece of news that I read today was about the arms of the Milky way which are not 4 in number but actually 2. (This was from yahoo ). Any comments on this, cos i dont kno how true this actually is.
