Webpage Display Misalignment Issue: Kinda' Solved....

Since the new format change I have had problems with the web pages being misaligned, and the same for each URL that I access off the main page.

It was weird, as of the 3 computers I use, only 1 had this problem. Hmmm..

Well, I finally figured out the problem, and hopefully the tech staff can fix it.

The pages only look correct when the Display Setting is at 1024 X 768 pixels [I use Windows XP]. Any other display setting results in a misalignment of the pages, and it requires a refresh to correct (which is a pain).

The problem is...that with a wide screen flat panel the 1024 X 768 pixel display setting looks goofy. I prefer the 1280 X 768 pixel setting with my wide screen.

So, if you suffer the same malady, try the fix: go to your Control Panel, Display Settings, and change to 1024 X 768 pixels, and accept. The pages load properly. If you have a wide screen, it looks funny, but the Astronomy.com pages look correct (not misaligned/ crooked). It works. And if you are staff, please see if this can be fixed!

    Thanks. Cheers.

    Marc,

Someone must have change a parameter after your post.  I now can see the frames without that annoying offset.

My mistake!  It worked for about a day, but now its doing the same offset.

Just change your display setting  as I stated above...the tech staff have told me that the problem is real, but no fix is anticipated.
