Very nice and getting 2 galaxies in one image is a bonus. Good job!

I don't believe it for a minute!.....There's no way!.....lol...

This is with a 4" scope? Brilliant! Of course reading his specs our new hellenic friend put a lot of time on this image. Nearly five hours of exposure and goodness only knows how long it took with three processing programs to produce this image.

BTW, this image is even more remarkable than is seen at first glance as he has caught at least three more fainter galaxies in this frame.

The secret for capturing very detail deep sky object is really the long exposure. Of course the CCD and the guiding is very important too, but if u insist and go on just taking many many hours everybody will have a good image.

Soon, and when the weather is better, i will take RGB se we can enjoy the colorful double Barrel Spirals.

Nice work. I can only count two extra galaxies. But all the more better.

You guys all underestimate the smaller scopes. That's all i've ever had with my biggest a 4.5". They have always impressed me visually.

I wish I were at home so I could possibly name them but the brightest elliptical galaxy is below the SB galaxy on the right, M-95 I believe. The other two are below the SB galaxy on the left. There is a circlet of stars descending down from the galaxy and between the last two stars is a faint elliptical. The last galaxy is in the lower left part of the frame between a rather bright triangle of stars.

Spotted the one I missed. Also the one you missed. The core peeps through the halo at the top left of the left galaxy.

Quite so Oliver! I missed that one completely. Thats at least four faint galaxies and M95 as well as M96.
