How does the kodak easy share LS443 work for astrophotography?  I would get the DSI but my parents consider it too expensive, but I found a kit t attach it to the telescope for around $80.00.  What's the difference between a threaded lense and a non-threaded lense?  Is this camera threaded or non

I  forgot to mention this is being used with a Meade ETX70.

Your probably not getting an answer because no one uses that particular camera and or knows nothing about it.

However, I do have a kodak EasyShare camera. Just not the same one you have. They are not a DSLR so they are not suitable for general astrophotography.  I have taken some shots of the moon through my telescope afocally by holding the camera up to the EP.. Other than there isn't much you can do with the easyshare cameras. Not unless your can do multiple timed exposures such as the DSLR cameras do..
