I use Fuji Super HQ-200. I put it with some Kodak Gold 200 shots I had taken, there was no comparison. They were both the same camera, lens, object (Orion), site, and length of exposure. In otherwords, the film was the only variable. The Kodak shots were very dim, and the nebula was a faint gray smudge. On the Fuji film, The nebula was bursting with color, and the stars were incredibly bright, rounded and 3-D looking. I thought it was cool! The Fuji Super HQ-200 is dirt cheap (at Ritz anway). $7 for a pack of 6 rolls of 24 exposures each. That's about 5c a shot!
These two films are the only two films I've tried though, Fuji Super-HQ 200 might not be the best film out there, although it is pretty darn good.
