I regularly checked out her "What's up" column on Universe Today and I appreciate her links and insights on historical astronomy. It blows my mind to think that the first telescope I ever had, a 3" Jason refractor was comparable to what Charles Messier used. I bet he'd like a look through my 8" SCT.

And good reading for cloudy nights? I think I'll get this book.
