Update: Young Astronomers Video Contest

Young Astronomers Video ContestI asked Astronomy magazine’s Circulation Manager Paul Daniel for an update on our first Young Astronomers Video Contest. Here’s what he shared:

UPDATED: "We now have 14 entries in the Young Astronomers Video Contest and they are looking great. They have come from New York, Michigan, and Oklahoma. Matter of fact, seven of them came from Oliver Middle School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Boy, are they overachievers! Most recently, we have received lots of questions about schools that are wrapping up their projects and asking for a little more time. You know what? We’re flexible! So we’re extending the deadline to November 19th to get your projects completed and mailed in. The top five in both categories will still be posted on Astronomy.com December 5th where visitors will vote for the winners. To find more about the contest, click here."
