Neptune and Uranus
Posted by stepping beyond on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 8:10 PM

Neptune and Uranus in the western sky , totally Awesome. Neptune was higher in the sky and Uranus sat  lower but, both were better viewed with my Z100 9mm. I also examined 2 globs and an IC galaxy and the viewing after the rain and flurries today , made my night so awesome that Alanna had to come and physically grab me up and carry me in . The cold and dampness had got to my joints and feet and I couldn't move from my observing chair. I was so engrossed in examining a galaxy that I didn't feel the cold till it had set in and climbed up my legs. My new king sized heating pad got delivered today and I'll just thaw out after a wonderful night.

Sounds like a fruitful session.  Uranus and Neptune are good targets when available.  Incredibly small though.  Heating pads sounds like a good idea right now.
