Sunspot group AR 1944

Departing Sunspot group AR 1944 quiet for now but still has the potential for CME's. I made this image with my homemade 108mm solar refracting telescope from Jadwin, Missouri on 01-11-2014 at 11:17:50 CST. The Sunspot group is said to be seven times the size of Earth!
