Super Moon - June 23, 2013

The Supermoon rising on June 23rd, 22:40pm above the forest canopy top this is a 6 panel mosaic. It is the most super (largest) of three supermoons in 2013. Its position nearest Earth is Perigee, and strays to a position farthest away – its Apogee. On July 6 at 8:36 p.m. eastern (July 7 at 12:36 a.m. UT). At 406,493 kilometers (252,583 miles) it is also the most-distant moon of the year.
