This is a photo of the full moon rising from Lycabettus Hill, in the center of the city of Athens, Greece. In fact it was the largest full moon of 2007 and also a "Hunter's moon". The presence in the hill of the desert plants of Agave Americana gave the photo an exotic look and it' s hard to believe that this photo was captured from the center of a city of 7.000.000. October 25, 2007 at 15:50 UT, Bresser Skylux 70 mm F10 refractor, Canon EOS 400D camera, ISO 200, exposure 1/20 second.
