"Northern Cross" asterism in Cygnus

Stunningly clear, calm and transparent night here in Jadwin, Missouri. The "Northern Cross" asterism in Cygnus shone with incredible brightness near the zenith as the Sun set and made for a fine photographic target, as the very fine seeing in the atmosphere continued. It is very dark, here in the backwoods most clear nights make for fine stargazing but at certain times the atmosphere is particularly clear and transparent and for a few hours last night that was the case.
