Sharpless 2-223

Sh2-223 is a faint supernova remnant (or HII region depending on which paper is referenced) located approximately 7,200 light-years away in Auriga.

Ha – 12x1800s – 360 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

480 minutes total exposure – 8 hours

Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) on November 11th, 12th and 29th, 2016 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90DT at f/6.7 603mm.
