The Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405) in Auriga

IC495 is an emission/reflection Nebula surrounding the bluish Star AE Auriga. It is 1500 light years away. Image was taken with scope at F7. All images were 10 minute exposures in the following sequence, 16 Luminance, 16 Red, 11 Green, 12 Blue, and 8 H Alpha for a total exposure of 10.5 hours. A QSI683 ccd camera was used with temperature at -20 degree C.
