Heart and Soul nebulae

The Heart Nebula (IC1805, right) and Soul Nebula (IC1848, left) are two large areas of star formation located roughly 7,500 light years away in the Perseus Arm of our galaxy.  

Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED AI-s lens @ f/2.8 Hutech Modified Canon XSi with IDAS-LPS Clip Filter 71x120s (~2.3 hrs) @ ISO 1600 Guided with an Orion ED80 f/7.5 Refractor on an Atlas GEM with EQMOD Guiding camera was an Orion SSAG with PHD Image acquisition performed using Backyard EOS Taken from Jenny Jump State Forest, NJ 13OCT2012

Dark, flat and bias calibration was done with Deep Sky Stacker. Processed in Photoshop CS5.
