IC 1848 is rather a large emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia.  It is often referred to as the "Embryo Nebula" because of its characteristic shape.  Because of its neighbor to the SE, IC 1805(Heart Nebula), reference to them both is The Heart & Soul.

This image was taken with a Takahashi FSQ106ED refractor telescope using a QSI583wsg.  It is a total of 4 hours of exposure using narrowband filters.
