What once was thought to be the closest planetary nebula to earth is the second closest.  This image is a 3 x 2 degree field of view which tells you just how large it is.  The image was taken with an E-160 F/3.3 and the STL 6303 using hydrogen alpha filter to create the HA-RGB image.  The nebula located in Perseus is very dim and this was a 15 hour total exposure.
