NGC 2903

This is an image of NGC2903. This is a barred spiral galaxy about 30 million light years away in the constellation Leo. This galaxy is also a field galaxy, meaning it does not belong to a larger cluster and is gravitationally isolated.

Telescope: Planewave CDK-17
Camera: Apogee CG16M
Mount: Paramount ME
Luminance: 20x20 minutes (binned 1x1)
Red: 12x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
Green: 11x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
Blue: 11x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
