NGC 660 is a polar ring galaxy in Pisces, a type of galaxy that has large star populations that orbit perpendicular to the plane of the galaxy disk. The two dark lanes in the core suggest a past collision between two spiral galaxies and a possible explanation for the warped structure of NGC 660. This image was taken on 11/5/2015 using a 12.5" PlaneWave scope and a QSI-640ws camera at f/8. Total LRGB integration was about 7 hours, limited by incoming weather systems.
