This is an image of M81, also known as Bode's Galaxy. It is a spiral galaxy about 12 million light years away in the constellation Ursa Major.

February 16 - March 14, 2013

Location: Rancho Hidalgo, NM

Telescope: TEC-140 (F7)

Camera: SBIG ST-8300M

Mount: AP900 GTO

Luminance: 24x20 minutes (unbinned)

Red: 10x15 minutes (binned 2x2)

Green: 10x15 minutes (binned 2x2)

Blue: 10x15 minutes (binned 2x2)
