Hubble Heritage Archive

Hello. I went to this thing...and the 1st page seems to indicate that it has 'fits' files that you can put in a 'cart' and

eventually view. For me..that is immposible. There seems to be no match between the files that I searched for and

put in the cart...and my ability to use my computer in any way to view them. Of course..I am not sure what type of

files that I am actually downloading and what kind of 'viewer' is requires to see them. Question: Any experienced suggestions?

These are uncompressed files (alphanumeric text) encoded in a format that is standard for astronomical CCD images.

Google FITSViewer for an application to work with them.

When I do this google becomes some kind of viewer by python. That's #1. #2. In some way its a 'zip' file that can only be opened by winzip. When I do that..I get access to unreadable files. It does not simply download a simply program that would have a desktop shortcut but I am going to continue to work with it
