"Earth Shine" Creating a little "Moon Shine"
Posted by TSmith on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 6:59 PM

Obviously I am not adept at downloading a photo to this site.  Any help would be appreciated.  When I click on "Insert Image"  The source box is not very explanatory and the help box does not explain either.  Thanks for your patience and I will try and upload the image when I figure out how to do it.

This photo was taken on January 2, 2014.  The moon was so beautiful with the small crescent, and perfect for getting a little "Earth Shine".

You can't upload the image here. The most common way we do it is upload the image to an image hosting site such as Photobucket or Flickr. Then you paste the URL of your image from the hosting site into your post. That's what you enter when clicking "insert image".

If you don't have an account with Photobucket or Flickr I think there's a way to do it using the image gallery here. But I've never done that.
